Why we love the Atlas Pet Company Lifetime Harness

The Atlas Pet Company Lifetime Harness is one of the best dog harnesses for pulling, offering safety, comfort and durability in a variety of vibrant colors. Here are some reasons why I love it:

1. Magnetic closure
I did not realize how convenient a magnetic closure on a harness would be until I tried it. This is a feature I’ve yet to see in a harness, and I absolutely love it! The magnetic clasp makes it extremely easy to open and close the buckle, but virtually impossible for a dog to pry it apart. This allows for a quick turnaround time getting the harness on or off. That alone is worth the price tag!

2. Accurate fit
The adjustments in the chest, back, belly allow for the most secure fit. Although the harness comes in three standard sizes (small, medium and large), you are able to adjust the harness to your pet’s exact dimensions. You might also want to read our guide on how to measure a dog for a harness.

3. Lifetime warranty
Dogs can be unpredictable at times, and should anything happen to the harness, Atlas Pet Company will replace it. They’ll even repair it if it gets chewed on or damaged for any reason. You buy it once, and wear it for a lifetime.

4. Design
Just because something is practical, doesn’t mean it can’t be stylish! The harness comes in seven colors, so you can choose one that not only works well, but looks great on your pet, too. The reflective stitching on the edges provides an added layer of safety without compromising aesthetics.

Atlas Pet Company Lifetime Harness: User experience

Quality and durability:
The quality of this harness is unparalleled. I’ve been using this harness to walk my dog for about a year now, and I have yet to see any damage or discoloration. And despite daily use, there seems to be no visible signs of wear and tear…the harness is still as sturdy as ever.

Value for money:
Although this harness has a much higher price point than I would prefer to spend on such an accessory, I do believe I have gotten my money’s worth and it's one of the best dog harnesses. And the fact that Atlas Pet Company will repair or replace any damaged harness, no questions asked means I will never have to spend on another harness again.

Snug and secure:
If you have a mixed breed like me, you'll know the struggle of trying to find the right size all too well. My dog’s proportions are all over the place so he is usually too big for a small, but too small for a medium. This highly adjustable harness is a god send, and allows me to make sure he’s securely fastened. No escape artists here!

Outdoor tested and approved:
This harness has withstood the harsh extremities of Los Angeles weather. I’ve taken my dog on numerous hikes using this harness and it has kept my dog focused on the trail. And be it rain or shine, the harness prevails! It’s made of quick drying UV resistant material which is definitely built for active dogs on outdoor adventures.

Atlas Pet Company Lifetime Harness: Verdict

I’m a creature of habit, so I had my reservations about switching to a new harness for my dog that did not contain any padding. But after trying the Atlas Pet Company’s Lifetime Harness, I can officially call myself a convert.

Not only is it extremely easy to put on and take off, but it also provides a very secure fit for my (adorably) disproportionate dog. Should my dog’s weight fluctuate, I would just have to adjust the harness versus buying an entirely new one. And like magic, the pulling has been significantly reduced, as has my stress been on these walks.
