Noodle the Pug has no idea that millions of people around the world have been tuning into his morning routine and using it as a way of predicting what kind of day they’re going to have.
So, how on earth did a sweet senior Pug come to have so much power over so many people with his accidental daily horoscope readings? Well, it all comes down to whether the 13-year-old wants to stand when he’s woken up each morning.
Each day, Noodle’s owner, Jonathan Graziano, gently lifts up his canine companion to see if he’ll stand. If he manages to stay upright, Graziano hails it a ‘bones day’ but if the little Pug slumps back down, it’s a ‘no-bones day’.
Graziano records each morning’s attempt before posting it on TikTok where it regularly racks up millions of views. Every time Noodle has a ‘bones day’ viewers take it as a sign that the day ahead is going to be a positive one, but a ‘no-bones day’ signals trouble ahead.

But Graziano doesn’t see a ‘no-bones day’ as being a bad thing, but rather as a sign to rest up and take it easy. “I think that just means you have permission to flop on plans or activities if you don’t wanna do them,” he explains.
Graziano adopted Noodle back in 2016 when the Pug was seven-years-old after his owner was no longer able to take care of him and although Noodle’s bones/no-bones days have only just started going viral, it’s been a thing in Graziano’s household since he brought Noodle home.
“We learned very early on that when he does not want to go on walkies, he will not go on walkies,” he laughs, adding that it’s never clear whether Noodle will prop himself up and get on with his day or just fall down and go right back to sleep.
But whether the unassuming star gets up or not, one thing is clear: TikTokers are smitten.
“I always feel so relieved when it’s a no bones day. It’s like I’m free from the horror of having to try lol,” joked one user, while another added “I accidentally slept through my alarms and missed a work meeting and now I know it’s because it’s a no bones day.”
