Eilish first introduced her new blue nose Pit Bull pup to her followers on Instagram stories with the caption ‘little nameless monkey’, but it wasn’t long before she revealed that she’d named the newest member of her family Shark.
Where did she get him?
Eilish has always been a huge dog lover, so it came as no surprise to her fans when the 19-year-old singer decided to foster dogs during the pandemic through Angel City Pit Bulls. Welcoming two Pit Bull puppies into her home during quarantine, she grew so attached to Shark that she decided to adopt him permanently.
How old is Shark?
Adopted in April 2020, Shark celebrated his first birthday in February of 2021, making him 18-months-old. Eilish once again took to Instagram to sing the little pup’s praises:
"My sweet rescue baby boy was born a year ago today," Eilish began her caption. "You have made my life 1000x better happy birfday little shark.”

He may still be young, but that doesn’t mean Shark hasn’t already gotten himself into a whole ton of mischief! At just 10-months of age, Shark had to undergo surgery after he swallowed an octopus toy. Thankfully, he emerged from the operation unscathed and was soon back to his old self.

Eilish was less than impressed when she came home to find Shark had decided to do his business all over her very expensive sneaker collection. She snapped the puppy lying on the floor looking rather sheepish and captioned it over on Instagram stories with: “Oh, you innocent now?”
