How PetsRadar finds the best deals
A detailed look into how PetsRadar finds the best deals.
PetsRadar is your one-stop shop for finding the best deals on pet supplies. Our experts sieve through thousands of deals every day and cherry-pick the best of the best, following a careful procedure.
We have years of experience covering sale events, like Black Friday and Amazon Prime Day, and know how to spot the difference between a good and a not-so-good deal. We use a combination of historical price-checking and price comparison websites, with our own expertise on pet products.
Everything you need is all in one place: expert reviews by real pet owners and the cheapest prices rounded up. You don't need to go anywhere else. If you're looking for something in particular, we also have hundreds of buying guides that will direct you to the right place and help you make the best purchase possible.
How PetsRadar finds the best deals
Here's an insight into our step-by-step process for selecting deals:
1. Deal research
To begin, we'll sift through hundreds of thousands of deals (no exaggeration) and select the few that we believe are worth it. As pet parents and deal experts, we're on top of the latest products and know which brands and retailers are trustworthy.
2. Price-check
Before we recommend any deal, we run a price-check to see if it really is a good price. Time and time again, I’ve seen retailers hike up prices the week before a sales event, only to drop them back to normal and call it a “saving.” No thanks! This is our pet peeve, and we will never include deals that aren’t legit.
We use a website called CamelCamelCamel to track the price history of products and determine how valid the deal is. Since we test most of the products we feature, we usually have a pretty good idea of what it should be - but it never hurts to double-check!

3. Price comparison
Once we're certain it's a great find, we’ll compare prices across all retailers that stock the product. We’ll always show you the website with the lowest price to ensure you’re getting the best deal.
4. Publish and review
Once the deal has been approved by the team, we'll add it to the site so you can get shopping! We regularly check our pages and will update the price if it ever changes. And if it's no longer a good deal, we'll completely remove it and replace it with something better. That’s why bookmarking our deals hubs is a great idea—so you’re always in the loop.

As previously mentioned, most of our deals feature products that the PestRadar team has tried and loved. Whenever possible, we include testing notes and photos to give you a better sense of how they truly look.
