Maida Pineda is a freelance food, travel and lifestyle writer and author of two books. Her byline has appeared in publications such The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Guardian, Australian Financial Review, CNN, Reader’s Digest, inflight, food and travel magazines. She has a Master of Arts degree in Gastronomy. After living in five countries and seven cities, she writes from her chosen home, Australia. Her dog Spark relocated from Manila to Melbourne via Singapore to join her in their new home. Together, they document their adventures on Instagram.
